Terms of Service

These terms explain how you may use the Miles Ahead Insurance website, request trucking insurance support, and communicate with our team.

Last updated: September 2, 2026

Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Miles Ahead Insurance website, including quote forms, contact forms, customer portals, certificate requests, filing support requests, content, communications, and related online services.

By accessing or using the website, you agree to these Terms. If you use the website on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

Company Information

The website is operated by Miles Ahead Insurance, located at 3333 Michelson DR, Irvine, CA 92612. In these Terms, "Company," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Miles Ahead Insurance. "You" and "your" refer to the person or business using the website.

We provide trucking insurance information and support for commercial auto, motor truck cargo, general liability, physical damage, owner-operator, and related coverage needs. Products and services may not be available in every state or for every risk.

Insurance Information and No Binding of Coverage

Website content is provided for general informational purposes and does not replace the advice of a licensed insurance professional who has reviewed your specific operation, authority, drivers, vehicles, cargo, routes, contracts, filings, and loss history.

Submitting a quote, contact, certificate, filing, or policy-change request through the website does not bind, alter, renew, reinstate, or cancel insurance coverage.

Coverage, pricing, eligibility, filings, certificates, and effective dates are subject to carrier underwriting, licensed-agent review, and written confirmation.

Policy forms, declarations, endorsements, exclusions, and carrier-issued documents control if they differ from anything shown on this website.

Do not assume you have coverage, a policy change, a certificate, a filing, or a cancellation based only on a website submission, email, text message, voicemail, uploaded document, dashboard entry, or informal conversation. Coverage is effective only when confirmed in writing by an authorized licensed professional and, when required, accepted by the issuing insurance carrier.

Quotes, Applications, and Underwriting

Any quote, estimate, indication, premium range, coverage summary, or eligibility statement is informational only and may change after underwriting review. Final premiums, limits, deductibles, exclusions, endorsements, payment plans, filings, and effective dates depend on carrier rules, required applications, driver and vehicle information, inspections, loss history, safety records, garaging, routes, commodities, contracts, and other underwriting factors.

You are responsible for reviewing information submitted to us and to insurance carriers. Incorrect, missing, or outdated information may affect pricing, coverage availability, claims handling, filings, certificates, or policy cancellation.

Certificates, Filings, and Authority Support

We may help request, prepare, transmit, or explain certificates of insurance, federal or state filings, MCS-90 endorsements, broker requirements, shipper requirements, and authority-related documentation. These services depend on the information you provide, carrier approval, policy status, and applicable filing systems.

We do not guarantee that any filing, certificate, or document will be accepted by a government agency, broker, shipper, lender, lessor, or other third party. You remain responsible for confirming that your authority, contracts, filings, permits, registrations, and operating requirements are complete before hauling a load.

Policy Documents Control

The website may summarize coverages such as auto liability, motor truck cargo, general liability, non-trucking liability, bobtail liability, physical damage, occupational accident, and related options. These summaries are not complete statements of coverage.

Actual policy documents, declarations, endorsements, exclusions, conditions, applications, binders, invoices, cancellation notices, and carrier communications govern your rights and obligations. If website content conflicts with carrier-issued documents, the carrier-issued documents control.

Your Responsibilities

When using the website or requesting insurance support, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and current information when requesting quotes, certificates, filings, account access, or policy support.
  • Review all applications, quotes, binders, certificates, policies, endorsements, invoices, and carrier documents carefully.
  • Promptly notify us of vehicle, driver, authority, cargo, route, ownership, garaging, safety, loss-history, or business changes that may affect coverage.
  • Keep copies of all documents submitted through or received from the website.

Accounts and Portal Access

If you receive access to a dashboard, certificate portal, policy portal, upload page, or other account feature, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

You agree not to share credentials with unauthorized users, access another user's account, upload unlawful or harmful materials, or interfere with website security. We may suspend or limit access if we believe an account is being misused, compromised, or used in violation of these Terms.

SMS and Email Communications

By submitting your contact information, you authorize us to contact you by phone, email, portal notice, or other electronic communication about quote requests, applications, policies, renewals, certificates, filings, claims, service requests, and related insurance matters.

If you separately opt in to SMS text messaging, Miles Ahead Insurance may send text messages about your insurance inquiry, quote request, policy service, certificates, filings, account updates, and related customer-care communications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages and HELP for help, or contact us at info@milesinsuranceinc.com or +1 (949) 818-8200. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

SMS consent is optional, is not a condition of purchasing goods or services, and is separate from acceptance of these Terms. Your consent applies only to the messaging program described where you opted in and is not transferable. You may ask us to stop promotional emails or texts, but we may still send service, account, legal, transactional, or policy-related communications where permitted by law.

Payments, Fees, and Cancellations

Premiums, fees, down payments, installment plans, finance agreements, cancellation terms, broker fees, agency fees, taxes, surcharges, and refunds are governed by the documents provided for the applicable transaction and by carrier, finance-company, and legal requirements.

If payment tools or links are made available, payment submission does not guarantee coverage, reinstatement, renewal, or avoidance of cancellation unless confirmed in writing by the applicable carrier or authorized licensed professional.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the website to:

  • Submit false, misleading, fraudulent, incomplete, or unauthorized information.
  • Upload malware, harmful code, unlawful content, or documents you do not have the right to use.
  • Attempt to bypass security, scrape protected areas, overload systems, or disrupt the website.
  • Impersonate another person, company, driver, insured, certificate holder, or authority.
  • Use website content or systems for unlawful, abusive, or deceptive purposes.
